Hi,
I live in England. That is my excuse and I shall stick to it :-)
I do hope that this topic is not too mundane. We have travelled over
15,000 miles in America and have never happened by a Rodeo. This year
we plan to come on over to get a little closer rather than just look
at scenery. We fancy some time on a ranch do some riding and so on.We
are photographers and we would love to go to a rodeo or two. We are
ignorant of what the range of rodeos is.
To get close to the action (not in it) we suspect we would need the
more "local" events. I assume that the "pro" events would be a stadium
which would not give the correct viewing angles and perspective.
Looking on the net is a nightmare with so many hits on any search
string that had the word "rodeo" in it.
Can anyone here advise, are there any well known web sites that will
list the more local events, given that we would go to whatever State
is appropriate. Come to that is there a particular region, north, west
where rodeos are more popular?
Cheers, Ray
