Hi all :)

Some of y'all may know me, I used to post on here eon's ago (10
years??? Oh my time flies by so fast). Guess I'm a tad of a well worn
boot, first posted when it wasn't even a Rodeo group. Thankfully a lot
of good folks who cared got it going. Chris? Djionn? Y'all still here?
Please forgive me for those I can't remember.

The items I enjoyed doing here, the nightly updates on the HLSR;
(Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo) results, after I attended each
night. And the Cowboy Histories, I wrote for fun :)

Well of course I'm back in my beloved Texas (been back about 3 yrs),
and it goes without saying, I have my season tickets for the Rodeo. I
will be limited on what nights I can attend, hubby is gone (Homeland
Security). Please no request for the ones I decided NOT to use, I
donated those to the Rodeo for those who couldn't afford the tickets.

I'm doing the single parent thing. Right now I only plan on 2 of the
events (Bullroader blowout, 21 Mar and the Marrtina show, 06 Mar),
also for those who don't know, 3 of the events are shown on Pay Per
View, if you don't want to pay, no worry you will see them on OLN,
eventually. The package deal is a LOT cheaper than the actual event.
Trust me I know.

It's quite interesting seeing some of these young ppl, who I watched
when they first appeared, now they are near or at the top of their
class. Sure I miss Ty, Tuff, Jerome and many others in the chutes.
Jerome, a man who gave his all, it hurt me personally when he had his
accident.

Yet I tilt my had to Adriona & Chris, and lordy let us not forget the
all famous twins, Carrillos', The G-Man. The list goes on.

And as a lot knew I really enjoyed; Bo, I was glad he was retired, but
saddened he died :(

The young riders say once you get scared to ride a bull, you should
leave. I strongly disagree. If your not at the very least a bit
scared, your foolish. Macho is fine and dandy, reality is completely
different.

Thank the heavens Bo did NOT kill anyone, though he sure did try! No
doubt Tuff was darn lucky to make it, I'll never forget that ride nor
Scotts.

What many forget concerning the turn out by Tuff was quite simple,
Tuff promised his son he would never get on Bo again. Sure I know
Cowboy up, of course. Yet a person must make some VERY hard decisions
in life, one thing a person should never do is go back on their word
to their children. It was all against what he believed in doing, the
turn out. Yet it would've been worse to break a promise to his son.

What happened to Terry Don West?? Fred from Dallas (Police Officer who
was a good b/r)??? Anyone know? Used to go to Donny Gays Rodeo (when
not working) and give it a go :) It was his little hobby on the
weekends, for fun :)

No use going into those that have joined the others in cowboy heaven.
The body may be gone, but as long as you remember that person they are
always here, even if only in your minds eye.

I understand the show Tallman puts on, sure some don't appreciate it,
but hey he does what he is paid to do, rev up and keep the audience
interested, one of the few ppl I could see talk off the needles of a
cactus :-) I defy anyone to say he doesn't do his job. Wish he would
turn the volume down, but oh well :-)

I've been lurking for a long time here, we have BR on NBC here in the
US on Sunday's, no one says a word? OLN (aka as OUTLF here in TX) we
have the PBR every weekend, gosh I remember when the PBR started,
including all the nay sayers forecasting it would fail, glad they were
wrong.

Just a bit ago the PBR was AWESOME! Not one comment on here. PBR
history, 4 way tie for 1st place, and someone I really enjoy, Adriano
coming through and winning! Y'all remember when he came to the US???
Couldn't speak English, but that boy *now man* rode no matter what! I
expected to see non stop talk about it, nada here.

Quick update on me, had a couple books published, no idea why,
non-Rodeo. And now I approve movie scripts & novels. Nice to see them
prior to being released (fedex over night to me from la la land). If I
say no go, it never happens. Okay enough about me.

So folks let's talk Rodeo! No need for excuses on why not posting,
excuses mean nothing, well they are words, words aqre nothing more
than what you think a person want to hear, actions speak a LOT louder.

Let's get this group going strong, again!

You rather talk the BS leave it in private email, also do NOT expect
one person to carry this NG, it won't happen. It's a group effort.
There isn't a thing wrong with posting a follow-up to a post, insert
your commentary and such. It's much appreciated.

No use for flames either, they do nothing. I personally refuse to
reply to any post with flames.

So sorry for some reasons my Registered Agent will not allow me to
post here, even though they have this group (ISP), so this is my first
post via Google.

Sure hope y'all take this post in the right light. At least I can say
I tried :)

I sure hope I gave various subject to discuss :) If not, welcome to
the world of lurkdom.

BTW Google has no spell check, and I fired the spelling police way
back in 1981 :-)

Again, glad to be back :-)
Let's have fun!
